Vintage Rooster on Marble Base

And sometimes, it's a treasure and surprise you when you find them. Like this little wonder discovered at Round Top. A most remarkable place to meet a new French dealer who was trying their hand at a market in the US for the first time. So now, you see that rooster and it all makes sense. The marble base. The iron figure. This one is definitively a French coq!  

Details:  Marble base is 2.5" square. Statue is 5.25"H overall. Rooster is 4.5"L beak to tail. Cast iron rooster on marble base.
