Zarabeth Duell is a Maker; she sketches, sews, paints and block prints for herself and for others. She also happens to be a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Vermont. Since graduating from University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2001, she has worked as a structural engineer. Currently, Zarabeth is a Senior Structural Engineer in a civil/structural engineering firm in central Vermont.

MTN GRL Studio’s work is largely inspired by Vermont's Green Mountains. Growing up in Vermont, many of Zarabeth's childhood vacations were woven around camping, hiking, and spending time outside. Hiking along the Long Trail, both solo and with her family, continues to be one of her favorite activities.
